Christmas in Heaven

This is the first Christmas without my Grandpa and a bittersweet one it is. This year on his birthday(12/22) my family and I went to the cemetery and to his favorite place the eat, Bill Lee's. While we were at the Cemetery exchanging stories of the past my sweet Grandma read a poem to us. As you all know there is no harder time to remember a loved one than during the holidays. This poem reminds me that there is something much bigger than this world. I am so grateful that God created a place for us to all go to be reunited with each other after this life.

Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees

Around the world below

With tiny light, like Heaven´s Stars

Reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular,

Please, wipe away that tear,

For I am spending Christmas

With Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas Songs

That people hold so dear.

But, the sounds of music can´t compare

With the Christmas Choir up here.

I have no words to tell you

Of the Joy their voices bring

For it is beyond description

To hear the Angels sing.

I know, how much you miss me,

I see the pain inside your heart,

For I am spending Christmas

With Jesus Christ this year.

I can´t tell you of the splendor

Or the Peace here in this place.

Can you just imagine Christmas

With our Saviour face to face??

I´ll ask Him to lift your spirit

As I tell Him of your love,

So then, Pray for one another,

As you lift your eyes above.

Please, let your hearts be joyful

And let your spirit sing,

For I am spending Christmas in Heaven

And I am walking with the KING.

My sweet girl!

So I am 30 weeks pregnant and just did my second 3d ultrasound. I had to do a second one because my little Isabelle is camera shy. She had both hands and feet covering her face for most of the first ultrasound. The second one did go so well either. This time she covered the side of her face and was turned so we couldn't get any clear pictures! I guess she wants us to be surprised when she makes her break into this world.

Here are a few of our little girl. In some of these you can see her foot on top of her head! Looks uncomfortable doesn't it?!

A little bit about me...

I am still pretty new to blogging. Although, I LOVE to read other blogs that I come across and have been doing so for the last few months. I am really grateful for all the stories I get to read daily so I thought I should add to all of your great stories. I guess I should start by letting you all know a little more about me so here it goes...

Just over two years ago I had my fairytale wedding and married my best friend Jason. Who is a much better blogger than I.

We have had such a whirlwind of blessing in our life the last two years of marriage. Because of the housing market crash in our town we were able to buy our first home! This is the day we got our keys. I love how happy my Jason looks...

We are also expecting our first child in February. A little girl, Isabelle Anne.

This is from our 3D ultrasound we did a few days ago. I cannot believe the technology we have these days.

I feel so blessed to have the life God chose for me. I do not deserve this and I thank Him everyday for the wonderful people he has placed in my life.

So this is a little bit about my life. I hope you will enjoy the future posts.

I am not too sure how this all works but I am going to give it a try! I guess I can start by saying hello so.... Hello! My name is Morgan I am a wife, daughter, sister, friend and about to add a new title, the most important one yet, Mom :) I am pregnant with my first child and very excited. As of now I babysit my niece Taylor (10 months) and my cousin's daughter, Riley (almost 4). My life has turned out much different than I ever would have imagined and I love every minute of it!

Since I am new to this, any and all tips are greatly appreciated!
